Wanted Softwares: Space Sniffer "Find the Lost Disk Space"

Running out of space on your hard drive? Want to know which files and folders are taking how much space? Definitely there are always some junk files and leftovers of uninstalled software which left the junk and completely useless files behind. There are many ways to track unused files or folders to free up space. For that there are dozens of impressive applications available but in my point of view, none is better than SpaceSniffer - A really tiny freeware which analyzes your hard disk and folders structure in such an impressive and quick way that no other application does.
Thanks to tipsotricks.com
SpaceSniffer is a wonderful and useful tool that lets you understand how folders and files are structured on your disks. It creates a treemap visualization layout, so you can have immediate perception of where big folders and files are placed on your disk.
Select the drive and start a scan process and within seconds see the overall situation in beautifully created tree structure. Bigger are the elements on the view, bigger are folders and files on your disk. You need more detail on a big folder? Just single click on it. The selected element will be detailed with its content.
Need more and more detail? Keep double clicking on the elements and zoom effect will discover more secrets to you.  If you’re there to free up some hard drive space
then go for those bigger elements to find out what’s taking how much space.
Maybe you want to focus only on particular file types… ok. Just type the file type on the filter field (example: *.jpg) and press enter. The view will react and show you only JPEG files.
Want to exclude files? Then type a starting pipe before the filter (example: |*.jpg) and press enter. The view will show everything but JPEG files.
A highly recommended application to keep an eye on those unused files and folders even if there is gigs of space free in your hard drive. This is essential to keep your system running smoothly. I’d suggest to run the scan with SpaceSniffer once in a month just as I do.
If you use any other application like this to track files and folders structure, do share with the readers in the comments below.
