Wanted Tips: How to Disable "Auto Play" in Windows 7

Whenever we insert a CD/DVD, USB or any other removable media to our PC, the OS by default will Auto Play the attached device, many a time you might not like this AutoPlay function of your OS. This can be a source to spread Viruses i n your system.

Disabling this "Auto Play" feature will help you to stay secure against virus attacks. Why not let us disable this feature.
How to Disable "Auto Play" in Windows 7
1:  Goto start menu. Type "gpedit.msc". Click gpedit to Open

2:  Expand
1:  Administrative Templates 
       2:  Windows Components 
              3:   Autoplay Policies 
in order as shown down in the image.Then double click "Turn off Autoplay"

4:  Select the radio button "Enable" then Select "All Drives" to disable to the AutoPlay of all drives. Click OK at the end to finish your problem of AutoPlay

5:  Restarting your System will lead to implementation of the above setting. Now Enjoy a tension free use of Removable Devices.
